Services

What we fix

Five jobs, every one priced before anyone touches the vehicle — and a straight answer about whether the glass really needs replacing.

Why us

Four reasons Newark drivers come back

Straight pricing

You hear what the job costs before we start. If a chip can be filled instead of replacing the whole windshield, we say so — even though it's the cheaper ticket for us.

Same day when we can

Common windshields and door glass sit on our shelf, so a morning drop-off is usually an afternoon pick-up. Open six days a week, 8am to 6pm.

Lifetime warranty

Every install carries a lifetime workmanship warranty. Leaks, wind noise or trim problems from our work are fixed free for as long as you own the vehicle.

We clean up

Broken side window? We vacuum the glass out of the door panel, the seats and the carpet, so you aren't still finding fragments weeks later.

How it works

Three steps, usually one afternoon

Get your price

Use the 60-second instant quote or call the shop. Pick the vehicle and the damaged glass and you get a number — no phone tag.

Choose shop or mobile

Drop the car at 23 Oraton Street, a short block off Broadway, or book the mobile van to meet you at home or at work.

Drive away safe

We fit OEM-quality glass with new moldings and primer, honour the adhesive's safe drive-away time, and back the work for life.

A technician's hands pressing new rubber molding along the top edge of a freshly installed windshield.
Primer, then a continuous urethane bead on a clean pinchweld — and new moldings every time, never a reused seal.
About the shop

A small glass shop in the North Ward

We run a small auto glass shop on Oraton Street in Newark's North Ward, close enough to McCarter Highway and Routes 1&9 that most drivers find us on a quick detour. Newark streets are rough on windshields — potholes near Broadway, gravel trucks off I-78, and the occasional break-in that leaves you sweeping glass off the seat.

Most of what comes through the door is straightforward: a rock chip from the Parkway, a windshield that finally cracked across, or a driver-side window someone punched out overnight. We keep common glass on hand so a lot of jobs finish the same day, and we drive out to Harrison, Kearny or East Orange when coming in isn't realistic. A clear price and a straight answer about repair versus replacement — no pressure, no runaround.

Where we work

Come to the shop

Oraton Street is a short block off Broadway, which puts the whole North Ward a few minutes away — and for plenty of people, inside walking distance of home.

Or we come to you

Past the city line the van does the driving, arriving with the glass, the urethane and a vacuum. Inside Newark there is generally no travel charge; farther out you hear the number when you book.

FAQ

Common questions

Will my insurance cover the windshield?

Usually yes. With comprehensive coverage, glass claims are often fully covered — many chip repairs cost $0 out of pocket. We bill your insurer directly and handle the paperwork, so most Newark drivers never touch a form.

How long does a windshield replacement take?

Plan on about an hour of work plus the adhesive's safe drive-away time. Call in the morning and you're almost always back on the road the same day.

Can you come to my home or job?

Yes — our mobile unit covers Newark, Elizabeth and the surrounding area. Driveway, workplace lot, or street parking: same glass, same lifetime workmanship warranty as in-shop.

Can a chip be repaired instead of replacing the glass?

Often, yes. If the chip is smaller than a quarter and not in the driver's direct sightline, a 30-minute resin injection stops it spreading — a fraction of the cost of new glass, and often free with insurance. Don't wait: one pothole on Routes 1&9 can turn a chip into a full crack.

What kind of glass do you install?

OEM-quality glass that meets or exceeds federal safety standards (FMVSS), with new moldings and primer — never reused seals. If you prefer dealer OEM glass we can source that too; we'll quote both.
